Accounts, Settings, and Privacy
If you choose to log in with LinkedIn or Salesforce credentials, our system will have access to your full profile, which includes your name, photo, current position and experience, plus primary email address used for your LinkedIn or Salesforce account and your contact information.
Currently, administrative access to the company account is controlled through a single email address and password that is entered at the creation of the account. The account administrator then determines who the information is shared with.
It is our hope that every company who applies will be admitted, however there will be instances where, in the interest of preserving the focus of the site and search functionality, we will not see a strong enough tie to mail to warrant an inclusion in the database.
We are willing to review a rejection or provide further explanation of what disqualified the company from the database. If you have been denied inclusion and would like to challenge our decision, please forward the rejection email to email@example.com with the subject line "Please Reconsider Listing." Include a brief statement regarding what your company does for the mailing industry.
Please note: If you merely dabble in mail, or if mail-related products, mail production and services, equipment or materials is not a core competency or featured offering, we will not be able to add your company to the database.
To join the Rock the Mailbox network of companies, simply click on the "List Your Business" link at the top of any page on the site and submit the required information. We will review your application and send a welcome note within 5 business days if you have been accepted. At that point, you will be given additional information and administrative access to your company profile page.
Please bear in mind that Rock the Mailbox is a curated network that is solely dedicated to mail. We will be looking for clear evidence of your company’s involvement in the mail industry, whether it is through a product, mail production, a service or the sale of mail-specific equipment and materials. If we do not see a strong mail connection, we will not be able to add you to the database.
My Company Profile
If you’re looking to draw attention to an area of expertise that is not available as a capability category in our system, you can always work the term into your “about” paragraph, which will be searchable in a key word search.
Rock the Mailbox is structured in a way that helps businesses get discovered for their expertise, and this helps marketers as they search for the specific products and services they need. So, we do not allow companies to check every category. We suggest that you select the categories that you are strongest at. You can also log into your account at any time and change the categories you’re listed in, if you’d like to test what category gets you the most interest. If you’d like to be able to choose the maximum number of categories, consider upgrading your account.
If our defined industry capabilities selection does not include all of the capabilities that you’d like to promote, please contact us and share your circumstances, we will consider modifying the listed capabilities.
We do not currently provide a direct import from these sites in the page creation tools, however we make it very easy to build your page. You can cut and paste content and links from other sources, and our system uses simple check box and image upload capabilities.
If you need some guidance, click the “I Need Help” button and do your best to describe what you’re looking for or trying to do. For example: “I saw a really cool mailer that started out flat and popped into a cube when it was opened. Can you help me find that?” or “I’m looking for a company that can analyze my mailing list and find more customers like the ones I currently have.” If you give us some clues, we’ll help you get where you’re going.
The most common reason for an empty search is during a keyword search. Please check your spelling to confirm that there wasn’t an error. If there was no misspelling, you may be using terminology that does not currently exist in any of the company profiles that are in the system.
There are two ways to filter your search results. The easiest thing to do is to choose regions and categories from the drop menus at the top of the search results page. As you work from left to right, the ability to narrow the search increases. If you’re looking for something specific, you can always type a key word or words into the keyword search field.
